This is a "two" part forum discussion. Answer in two distinct parts (part one and part two). You need to use the attached textbook details for doing the part one of this forum.

The book being used is, Security Science, The Theory and Practice of Security.

Part I (250 words with 2-3 references)Research one of the roles or functions of private security using (APUS online library or other search engines that lead you to "credible" articles, etc). Present the premise of the article you chose and discuss the “similarities and differences” regarding “how the function is presented in the article versus what is presented in the textbook.”  Your similarities and differences analysis will be heavily considered in grading.

Write your own definition of security and explain why you selected the phrases you chose for your definition
