Texting While Driving

The Texas House of Representatives passed a bill last week that would ban texting while driving. A similar measure was passed by the full legislature several years ago, but it was vetoed by the governor. It appears likely that this bill will also pass the legislature this session and it’s unclear if it would be vetoed by Governor Abbot.

What is your view? Should this bill be signed into law?
