Your text (p. 47) discusses the concepts of ‘Top-down and Bottom-up’ cognitive processing. In the discussion prompt, Top-down processing and describe why it is always better to use this type of information processing or reasoning. explain why it is always better to use this type of information processing or reasoning. You will take one side or the other and argue that this is the best way to process information. You may use examples or evidence to support your argument. Also, locate two empirical journal articles (make sure you reference them using  APA style writing) that discuss the validity of  using this type or processing that you are arguing is best in your post. Then respond to three of your classmates posts; remember to use empirical evidence even when responding to your classmates’ posts.

2. Use your database training to assist you in finding peer-reviewed journal articles from our library to support the statements you want to make about the topic. READ THEM and find statements that support your point of view.

3. Create your initial response (200 words) using the peer-reviewed journal articles you found as support for your statement about the topic.

4. Make sure you use APA resources (found in the Files Folder in Canvas) to assist you in citing the peer-reviewed journal articles IN YOUR INITIAL RESPONSE and also after your response as APA references. 

Summary: Use TWO (2) peer reviewed journal articles to support your INITIAL response to the discussion post. Remember you learned how to find peer-reviewed articles from your library database training. Use the references WITHIN YOUR INITIAL POST (make sure you cite the information you are getting from the articles as you are writing your response. THEN, you just list your references in APA style after your INITIAL POST.
