Discussion Question 1: You were assigned this article (see Content, Session 1) for reading this week: stop at the section entitled "Costing Risk"  https://www.jisc.ac.uk/full-guide/risk-management

How could quantitative analysis aide a manager in determining if a risk to a project schedule -or- budget would "impact" an ongoing project? Remember, a project is defined with a beginning, engagement and closure phase. Respond in one paragraph, and cite any of our readings from the first week of class.

Discussion Question 2: What risks in scope, schedule, resource or budget uncertainties have you encountered in the various projects you were involved with that could have led to project risk impact

Cite the PMBOK Guide (authors are PMI = Project Management Institute) readings assigned to support your 2-paragraphs (150 words) posting.

A risk management system should provide stability and direction during the life cycle of any project. Through formal or informal risk management planning, the Project Manager should be able to facilitate the identification of the risk, encourage awareness of risks, delegate responsibility to the appropriate team members, review status of risks, plan mitigation and control risks, including opportunities (PMI, 2013).
