This week we are looking at key ratios and non-financial performance measures. For this discussion select from an organization a non-financial performance measure that will affect the financial performance of a health organization.

There are government performance measures, quality performance measures, efficiency performance measures that all have a bearing on the finances indirectly.

In your role as a healthcare manager you will be asked in your professional career to apply your knowledge of the performance measures in relation to the finances to produce proposals, justifications and other documents – this should be a document that would feel comfortable submitting to your boss.
