Does the pulmonary circuit involve the hepatic portal vein?

Pulmonary circulation is nothing to do with hepatic portal vein

Hepatic portal vein collects blood from pelvic region in amphibians and lizard like animals. In birds and mammals there is no hepatic portal. Presence of hepatic portal is having evolutionary significance. Therefore in pulmonary circulation hepatic portal is not involved
