Looking at the DSM-5 diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria, how would you describe the criterion to a client or a parent of a client of the respective age? Do you have any strong agreements or disagreements in regards to the criterion? How do you as a clinician diagnose this while being aware/informed/respectful of people who identified an individuals that is part of the umbrella term Transgender? What cultural concepts apply?
