Observed Deficit:Over several classroom observations and review of lesson plans, the administrator identifies that Mr. Jackson is not using instructional strategies that effectively engage students or address diverse learning needs. Specifically:

Lessons primarily rely on lecture with minimal student interaction.

Visual aids, manipulatives, or technology are rarely incorporated, even when appropriate.

Instruction does not differentiate for students with varying reading levels or learning styles.

Students frequently appear disengaged, with low participation and minimal comprehension.

Assessments are mostly recall-based, lacking opportunities for critical thinking or application.

Impact:

Students struggle to understand complex texts and concepts.

Classroom engagement and motivation are low.

Standardized test scores and formative assessment data indicate below-expected growth.

Administrator Action:The principal schedules a meeting with Mr. Jackson to address these concerns and formalizes a Plan of Improvement.
