I need help with the matlab question
Objective: In this experimentMatlab is used to generate approximations of a periodic square wave using the truncated Fourier series representation
Assignment: Develop a MATLAB m-file to generate a Fourier series of a square-wave in the time domain. Display the Fourier series for a square-wave based on different harmonic numbers. Demonstrate the effects of band-limiting for a square-wave. Comment your results.
General Procedure: Write the code for an m-file (script) that will be used to generate the Fourier series representation of a square-wave. The representation should be based on a peak value of 1 V (2 V peak-to-peak) and displayed over two cycles based on a period of 1 s. Both the horizontal and vertical axes should be labeled and the graph should be given a title. The equations required are given in Table 2-2 on page 50 of the class textbook. All plots should be generated with a sufficient number of points for smooth curves. Use the title Surname_1 for the m-file. Submit your report in Blackboard as a word document file structured like this:
Pg. 2, 3, .. These pages will contain the following plots:
Display two cycles of the waveform for the following cases: N=1; N=3; N=5; N=7; N=9. For each of the cases above use Matlab to plot the amplitude line spectra (one-sided). Since for this signal the phase spectra is only due to the negative sign of some of the coefficients, you can include the negative sign in the amplitude spectra and plot the coefficients with their corresponding sign.
*you can put 2, 4 or 6 figures on a page, or arrange them as you like, just make sure that the plots are large enough to be readable.
**after inserting all your figures you should include a paragraph of comments based on the figures presented. This paragraph can be on the same page with the last plot or on a separate page.
Pg. last This page should contain the m-file.
