RULES
Pre-writing is the process of organizing your thoughts and ideas before you begin writing. There are many different methods, such as brainstorming, outlining, mapping, clustering, or jotting a list. You can use pre-writing to think about your topic more clearly, track your ideas, and see your paper take shape. A major use of pre-writing is to develop questions such as, "What do I need to know in order to write this essay?" or "How do I find out?" or the really big question, "What is this essay really about?"
Lesson ReviewUse pre-writing strategies for the following topics. You must use at least three different strategies.
