Ramadan month

TOPIC:    Basic information about Ramadan month.

SPECIFIC PURPOSE:  To inform my audiences about the history of Ramadan month fasting and  describe to them why Muslims fast on Ramadan and What the benefits of that.

THESIS STATEMENT: How many of you have any idea about Ramadan month. What about its historical bases, and benefits of fasting?

Introduction:

1- Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and the month in which the holy Quran was revealed.

2- During the 30 days of Ramadan, between sunrise and sunset, Muslims are

forbidden from eating, drinking, smoking and engaging in sexual

relations during the hours of daylight

3- Muslims do so many good things in this month such as such as : help poor people , fast to remember them and visit neighbors and relatives.

What about its historical bases, and benefits of fasting 30 days of Ramadan month.

Body:

1- Since more than 1400 years Muslims fast Ramadan month each year.

2- fasting from sunrise to sunset is a spiritual sport to train the body to patience and remember the poor people who can’t find food always.

3- Gathering with family and friends  and eat on the same time and with them is so special on this holy month
