Essay for Scholarship 30-minute conversation with any person in human history

This scholarship is a for military kids - military traits need to reflect and link me and him to the disciple and integrity, ethics

If you had the chance to have a 30-minute conversation with any person in human history (either living or deceased), who would be the person you choose? Why? What topic would you discuss with this person?

Essay must be 500 words or less, typewritten or computer-generated, double spaced, and no longer than 2 pages. Place your name in the upper right hand corner of each page of the essay.

I would select my Italian grandfather, who passed away 9 months before I was born, Joe DUva. He was in the Korean war, He worked fo rthe City, He was hard working and loved to cook for his family. he never forgot where he came from My grandfather died of cancer.  he had decieded not to do the treatments. and I feel at the end he wish he had.  They say he tried to get close to everyone and spend time with them before he passed away.

I am a girl, I have cheered since i was 4

I want to be a nurse and I have been accepted to ECU

my cheer team won 4A State Championship, before we went to the championship we had to redo our routine becaise a few girls got hurt and we had to practice long hours becuse it happen a week from us going.

I have a 3.5 GPA and I work at the YMCA as a lifeguard, voluteer with Red Cross, and food bank

I want to give back to my communtiy.

my father was in the military too - he spent 20 years in service. I was borned less than a year before my dad retired.

If I had a conversation with him, I would like to talk to him about his work ethic and his life in general, that way I can work to emulate the same qualities i my life and relate all this to disciple from his career early on from his military life. wrap it with getting those qualities from my dad, as he had gotten them from his dad.

I need it to not just say the awards but Don't just tell them about my awards; show in the paper how I conquer and my objectives and overcame them with my team your. Putting unique interests and perspectives on the page will go a very long ways toward giving me a  creative and  a memorable essay
