Essay on Religion, Morality, and Politics

Write a 1- 1 & 1/2 page double-spaced essay on a specific moral or political issue relating to the contemporary practice of a particular religious/spiritual tradition.

Include the following in your essay:

• Name one specific moral or political issue(s) relating to your chosen tradition.
• What are the moral questions raised by this issue? IE. For example, Christian Science, in principle, disallows members from seeking medical help or visiting physicians. Does this raise any questions in regard to religious freedom and/or our ability to prevent harm to children in certain cases? 
• You can reference the discussion of Religion, Morality, and Politics, in chapters 9 and 10 of your text Studying Religion.
