Federal Administrative Agencies can be created by either the legislative or executive branch. Agencies like the SEC have judicial and legislative powers which doesn't match with our separation of powers. I thought administrative agencies only administrate the law?
So why does the SEC get powers involving all three branches of government? Doesn't our Constitution establish separation of powers through the three branches of government? So why isn't this unconstitutional? Why the integration? How far does SEC authority go?
