For next weeks’ assignment, you must watch episode 1 of OJ Simpson:  Made in America.  In addition, please select and read one of the following articles, "Jackie Robinson vs. Malcolm X", or "Black athletes have always been at forefront of the struggle". .  Afterwards, write a 3-4-page essay discussing the film and the article. 

You should have at a minimum of ten points from the episodes of the documentary to support your essay.  Your paper should address the benefits and drawbacks of being a Black man and an athlete.  The essay should also address your belief around athleticism and activism for Black men.  From the reading, you should use at a minimum of five salient points from the article.
