For this assignment, please think about how you would evaluate the feasibility of opening an online business. Your business model is that you buy your products at www.alibaba.com (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. and then you resell them on www.amazon.com (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. 

Write a two-page paper to summarizes and explains items #1-5 below.  Figures count as part of the 2-page requirement as long as they are properly explained with supporting text.  You are welcome to submit a longer paper, if needed.

You may choose a format of your choice (technical report style or memo format) but your paper must have an introduction, clear headings, and a conclusion.  If you include a title page, your paper should be at least 3 pages in length.

1. Select at least two items from Alibaba that you intend to buy and then resell (provide the cost for each item in the paper as well as the links to the products).

2. Analyze comparable products on Amazon (provide me costs in the paper as well as the links).

3. Based on information gathered in #1 and 2, determine your selling price.  What will you sell the products for on Amazon?  Provide a justification.

4. Estimate/calculate your gross profit margin. Remember to consider shipping costs or any other costs that you think are important to consider.  Provide an estimate of the amounts and justification to back up your estimates.

5. Based on your research and calculations, does it appear that your proposed business could be profitable (assuming demand is there)?   Why or why not?
