In the workplace there are numerous data gathering methods. Stringer (2014) identifies some of these methods in Chapter 4. As a team, you will be conducting additional research on assigned topics to assist you with identifying the strengths and weaknesses of these approaches and ways to assure the confidentiality of your subjects

One of the methods is a frequently used method; the other is less frequently used. In both cases, your team is to generate a rich description of each methodology and provide a short, simple list of the steps involved in accurately compiling data and a short list of what has to be done to ensure the confidentiality of those who provided the data.
