The idea is to make it interesting! You should read about your topic in the book—of course—and then do some additional research on it.  Try to take “ownership” of it. If you can, tell us some things about this topic we don’t know…..things NOT covered in the book. Several of you will be able to take the topic and tell us how it applies in real life….to your job, or maybe one you’ve previously held—either in the private, military, non-profit, or government sector.

Your talk should be around 12-15 minutes. Don’t cheat us, but don’t go way over time either. Your essay should be written APA style with cover page, references, citations, pagination, etc. We will spend a few minutes Week 3 talking a little more about your short paper (4-5 pages in length—cover page, reference pages do not count toward the 4-5 pages).
