Goal: To make students aware of the role and weaknesses of operating systems in computer and data networks.

Deliverables: 5 double spaced page

Research four major operating systems’ vulnerabilities and write a paper on these vulnerabilities for each operating system.

Consider the following operating Systems:

a. UNIX ( and other varieties of Unix like FreeBSD and OpenBSD)

b. Linux

c. Windows ( NT, 2000, etc..)

d. Mac OS

f. Internet security models: IPv4/v6 encapsulation header

Include diagrams or images if possible.
