Discussion topics are worth 25 points each. Two will be assigned throughout the course. Responses must be a minimum of 400 words. Students must also comment on at least one fellow classmateâs in addition to writing their own. Comments must be more substantive than just âI agreeâ or âdisagreeâ. They must be a minimum of 100 words. The grade will be based on ability to following instructions as well as the content and thoroughness of the studentâs response.

* Discuss the pros and cons of illegal immigrants or undocumented workers in Texas. Should more be done to curtail immigration? What role should the state government take if any? What role should the federal government take if any? What type of federalism are you suggesting? Defend your answer.
