Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Aluminum Soda Cans. It needs to be at least 250 words. Aluminum Soda Cans Why This is because aluminum cans belong to the of pyrophoric materials, which are combustible when exposed to an ignition source. They are regarded as class D fires because they have a very high combustion rate in comparison to other metals. The molten material is also dangerous when wet since it reacts with water. As such, it results in the formation of aluminum oxide, which does not provide any form of protection to the metallic part of the engine. Hence, the material is not safe for transport since it can cause fires or unnecessary ignitions. Such implies that the material is risky one for the plant to work with in the production of engine parts.

What

The banning of the aluminum cans emerged from a situation where such molten materials resulted in the development of unnecessary fires in the plant. Thus, the material was not effective to work with since it reacts with water. Further, the plant had to undergo an extra cost in terms of storing this material to ensure that it is safe from reaction with water or natural environmental exposure. Moreover, the material contributed towards the development of health related issues to the plant employees (Forgrieve 1). Such includes the infection of the thyroid glands of the employees during the melting stage of the material for it to be casted into different engine parts. These plastic cans also lose their material properties during the melting stage, which makes them give weak engine parts that cannot contribute in the attainment of success for the plant.
