Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Bus 55p. It needs to be at least 250 words. Business What would you hope to be able to do as an employee? I would have first seen if the problem case falls under the standard 30day warranty structure. Since this case doesn’t, I would have asked the client to leave behind the crutches so that I can ask the stockiest for a fix at minimal cost, which I would inform the client about first and if he accepts I would get them fixed. This would ensure I do not lose the customer.
What would you expect to accomplish based on experiences you have actually had as an employee?
I expect the client to not understand my position and charge on me like it is my totally fault. However, from my experience working here I am sure I can convince the client that since the case doesn’t fall within the standard warranty time, there is nothing we can do about it.
If you were the boss, what instructions would you give employees as a general rule for defective merchandise?
I would have asked my employees to make note down the name of the vendor that supplied defective machinery and make sure for the future that we do not deal with him. Also, I would advise them to provide such customers with a 10% discount on their next purchase as a token of courtesy.
If you were the customer, what would you consider fair?
I would consider it to be fair enough to be given a replacement if the problem occurred within the warranty timeframe. After the warranty period, I would find it fair for the store owner to provide me an adequate discount of my next purchase along with providing me additional warranty on that product.
