Professional Ethics also applies when it comes to the enactment and implementation of information security laws (Al-Omari, Deokar, El-Gayar, Walters, & Aleassa, 2013). The implication is that security professionals should have knowledge of the relevant legislation since they have the responsibility to respect the regulations governing the use of information systems.
