Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Law of Evidence: Testimony. It needs to be at least 250 words. When something is taken as non-testimonial evidence it implies evidence that can only be accepted into evidence as exhibits. It is one of which the prosecutor of the subject matter cannot obtain personal knowledge by observation. They are deemed not to have the same impact as speech. Non testimonial evidence is not as strong evidence as word of mouth from the witness (Paul and Zuckerman 2004). Example is physical test to identify if the suspect is intoxicated. It is often referred as “it is what it is”

Show up is instant when the witness or victim is taken to see the suspect. It should always not allow too much time to lapse. Line-ups on the other hand act of putting different people in a line behind the mirror with similar features. The participants are often police detectives, department employees or civilian police (Paul and Berman-Barrett 2000). In preparation the witness is told that the suspect may or may not be in the lineup.

The officer is expected to dress neatly and conservatively at least to ensure that he/she is cautious. The way one dresses is the reflection of oneself. When determining what to wear also the officer have to sure that his/her manner of dressing do not in any way distract the judge from careful consideration of his/her testimony. The work schedule of the officer also determines the kind of attire to wear. This is because sometimes he is required to testify while on duty and sometimes he/she is required while off-duty. If the officer is not on duty then civilian is what he/she will wear but if the officer is on duty then official standard uniform is expected.
