Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Success in Life. It needs to be at least 500 words. Personal ment Success. It is a word that carries varied meanings for people. It cannot be defined as a single procedure or accomplishment in life because the parameters that can define the success of a person is as numerous as the interpretations of the word. However, there are people who have their own standard definition of success, by which they live their lives. I am one of those people. As far as I am concerned, success should be defined as the ability of a person to succeed where few others have succeeded before. Such is the case for those who wish to work in the hotel industry of Saudi Arabia.
It is a well known fact that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest growing tourism areas of the world. As such, there is a rapid growth in the building of world-class hotels which need to be manned why highly skilled and capable people who are familiar with the traditions and culture of the Arabs. Currently, these hotel jobs are only open to foreign contract workers due to the lack of Arabs who specialize in the hotel management field. There are but a handful of us at the moment who are more than willing to be trained in this particular area in order to meet the high demand for employment in the field.
Coming from a well-to-do family Saudi, my family members have the ability to work in any field that we wish to. My uncles have taken advantage of the boom in the tourism industry by setting up family owned hotels across the country. While the business works fine using the contract workers to run the business, my uncles -- and my father for that matter, recognize that there is still room for improvement in the field because the leadership positions at the hotels are not yet being occupied by Saudi nationals.
That is the main reason that my father strongly encouraged me to consider a career in the hotel management field. It is not a secret that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently implementing a “Saudi for the Saudians” policy in terms of employment. Our government wishes to offer more employment opportunities to the Saudians in the private sector before allowing any contract workers to fill the position. By increasing the rate of Saudi nationals in the private sector, the government hopes to keep more of the Saudi dollars within our country in order to help our economy.
Being a nationalistic Saudian, I feel that it is my duty and responsibility to help the government promote their program of employment. That is why my father did not have to tell me twice to consider a career in the Hotel Management field. The only problem is that there are very few colleges in Saudi that offer Hotel Management courses. Since I want to have the best possible training in the field, my father suggested that I consider going to school abroad in order to give myself the best opportunity in terms of theoretical studies, training, and internships.
That is why I am presenting myself as a possible candidate for a student slot at your highly esteemed university under the course of Hotel Management. It is my belief that my success in this field begins with the proper educational foundation. Since the United Kingdom has one of the highest tourism rates in the world, it stands to reason that anybody who studies the course in your country will be in very good hands and shall display a unique kind of management styles that can be adapted for use by other countries.
With any luck, I will be able to complete my Hotel Management degree in the United Kingdom and the follow it up with a few years of employment at various internationally acclaimed hotel chains prior to my return to Saudi where I will then practice everything that I have learned about the hotel management field. I am very excited about this prospect because my 10 year career plan ends with my taking on the position of regional manager for the Intercontinental Hotel in the Middle East.
Unlike your other applicants, I am not coming to you without any hotel management related experience. In the year 2008, I worked as a trainee at one of the major hotels in Saudi. I quite enjoyed the experience which further bolstered my belief that my career path lies within the Hotel Management field.
By placing myself in the able hands of your notable professors, I am confident that I will be able to return to Saudi with more than just a theoretical understanding of how to make a hotel function at is best capacity. I will return to Saudi knowing that I will be able to help put our hotels on the tourism map because of the excellent mentoring and training that I received in the United Kingdom.
