Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on 1. Pick a conflict in which you were involved or which you observed, either professionally or personally. Describe the incident. 2. Name one to three emotions that were prominent in the conflict. Choose from your own emotions or those that you observed in. It needs to be at least 250 words.

Mylene got pissed off with Wilma because she kept on questioning the reports which she prepared. Mylene blew her top and a shouting match ensued in front of the whole Department.

An emotion that was prominent in the conflict that one observed is anger. One noticed that Mylene was very angry at Wilma as evidenced by her shouting and facial expressions. One thinks that the anger was the result of suppressed emotions of Mylene towards Wilma. The questioning attitude of Wilma during the meeting was the trigger point that paved the way to the outburst of emotions. Pride was another emotion observed from the conflict. This was seen from Wilma who felt that she was more superior to Mylene. This was an emotion that is expected of her because she believes that she is more powerful because of her relationship to the boss. Furthermore, she feels she is more knowledgeable than Mylene, being a Master’s degree holder in business.

A helpful approach to the emotional aspect of the conflict is to separate both sides when the verbal clash started to heat up. A conflict cannot be resolved if both parties are angry. If one eliminates anger, both parties will be more reasonable and may be ready to listen. As a mediator, it is essential that one acknowledges the emotions that both parties feel. A mediator should also be subjective and not let his own emotions rule
