The overall structure of the piece of music is grasping with the bass guitar and the drum set plus the high volume levels ascertaining a dominant chord that is very apparent from the beginning to the very end. The drum set and the bass guitar are the only two instruments that can be easily established from the music. with the drum set commencing the song for the first few seconds after which the bass guitar also takes on after Katy starts singing. Additionally, as the song is coming to an end the chorus amplification effect is applied on the bass guitar where it sounds more acoustic and as though it is playing as part of a chorus. not that there are other guitars but one can tell the difference in sound but the drum set’s sound is constant on the greater part of the song but also at the end it is slow for sometime but then takes up the initial speed.

Music forms are often known to be complex with most listeners hastily establishing the form of a short and simple piece or of one built from many short repetitions or even the familiar music forms i.e. those that are common to the average music listener.
