Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on Norm Violation. It needs to be at least 750 words.

By doing this particular kind of activity, I deviated from a norm that is usually expected of a person’s public behavior. Logically, the status of “social individual” normally presupposes that they are wearing their clothes in a generally accepted way, that is, one’s garments are put on not on the inner side and the stiches of fabric are invisible. To sum up my experience, I should say that I really felt to be accepted as a deviant when violating the norm, though the people’s reactions varied greatly and my behavior was perceived in different ways.

Speaking about the way I felt while “breaking the norm”, I should note that it was a bit awkward at the very beginning of an experiment, but at a later time I managed to habituate myself to this and tried to be more confident and behave in a usual manner to make the situation look as usual as possible. In this way, I intended to get the most genuine reactions of people, who I am acquainted with as well as those, who are complete strangers to me. So, the hardest part to me was to keep a straight face and show no sign of understanding of violating a norm while going about my usual duties.

Thus, I woke up in the morning, got dressed (inside out) and went downstairs to say good morning to my family. My mother was aware that I was asked to carry out such experiment, which is why her reaction was rather predictable and wittingly faked-up. That is why I decided not to take it into account.
