The world seems to have turned its eyes away, as home no longer smiles back,

Rebels continue to raise havoc, in the heart of once a peaceful nation,

With bodies strewn around like litter, of army and civilian alike,

To be killed by a bullet or the ocean waters, cruel as it is the time is now.
