Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on Wolfe's Say Yes. It needs to be at least 500 words.

What becomes apparent, however, is the husband's love for his wife. Even in the middle of the argument, he showed his deep concern for her which is in stark contrast with how he wanted to prove his point. The story portrays the wife as a typical woman, emotional and sensitive who wanted to be loved and adored not for her skin color but for all that she is.

The way the story ended is quite surprising. Here we see a man surrendering to his wife after their battle. He had won the argument, yet he gave in because of his love for his wife. I am really impressed by the way that this husband considers the argument worthless after 30 years or so. Taken from the point of view of a man, the story neglects the emotionality of a woman and emphasized the rationality of a man.

Wolfe's story entitled Say Yes document's the conversation of a husband and wife told from the man's perspective, while they are doing the dishes. Their conversation revolved on the possibility of intimate relationship between a black and a white. The husband was really against the idea of marriage between people from two different races because of their lingual and cultural differences. On the other hand, the wife argued that if two people love each other, it is enough to keep them together and make the relationship work.
