Hello, I'm trying to find the basic earnings per share and diluted earnings per share based on this document provided to me. I have a couple of answers in relation to it , but I really would like to double check on how it's completed.

Basically, can I get basic earnings per share by taking the net income $6,663 and subtracting it from cash dividends of $2 per share before dividing that amount by weighted average shares outstanding of 1,020...?
