I need help with how to respond to this post. Any help would be appreciated.

As you think about factors that may affect a person's overall health, how would you apply critical thinking to a 64 year old patient that smokes four packs a day? What can you anticipate by knowing the effects of smoking on the human body? Do you feel any emotional bias toward this patient since you as a nurse are trying to help him promote his health but he still continues to smoke?  What kind of critical thinking skills do you think a nurse would use for this patient?
