Help with discusion

To start our discussion, think about the presence of moisture in the atmosphere. We often hear when the temperature gets well above 100 in the Southwest US, that it is a dry heat, and therefore not really uncomfortable. Is this true - what do you think?  Feel free to take your discussion beyond these starting points.
