Here are the Identifications you need to do for the final exam. Each term must include two parts:  the definition (basic description of who or what it is--should be a solid paragraph consisting of several sentences) and the significance (by which I mean the importance to history and to you--also a nice solid paragraph of several sentences telling me why you think it has meaning historically and why you found it important--your reaction is most important to me).

You may use any resources for getting the information: Assigned readings, general histories, internet. Whatever shource you use, please write the definition in your own words.
