This sounds good, and it's of course a really important topic. I think your descriptions and justification all sound good, but you need to incorporate some of that back into the wording of the question itself. "The influence of social media on political polarization" isn't quite yet a research question, but it's on the right track. If you are going to focus on specific platforms, they should be named in the question. If you are focusing a specific population or demographic of people, that should be named directly in the question. So, you are on your way there, but the question still needs a bit of refining - and it also needs to be a full question, right now it is just a phrase / a statement.
