The organization description is to include the mission as well as information on board of directors, who/what the Nonprofit serves, highlights and accomplishments among other things as appropriate. Refer to Chapter 8 in the Foundation Center book. This should be at least 1 single-spaced page, definitely no more than 2 single-spaced pages.

As for the budget, you can make it up, but let it be as realistic as possible. Think of the different components. Refer to Chapter 7 in the Foundation Center book. There is also an example of a grant budget at the end of Appendix A.
