A.) Consider the Latin American revolutionary period from 1800-1826. What forces allowed revolutions to occur during this time period? What did these revolutions change? To what extent did they make Latin America more modern?

B.) Explain in detail the different reasons why Europeans engaged in imperialism during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Consider South America, India, and Africa. Did the benefits of imperialism outweigh the drawbacks? Explain why or why not.
