Hey, this question is related to test-statistics

I'm having trouble understanding how to find a critical value when given an alpha and a degrees of freedom, using the table (and when h0 is true). I think I just don't understand how to look for the critical value.

For instance, with a df of 5 and an alpha of 0,01, why is the critical number 4.032? Why do we look under the alpha of 0,05 to find the value, I thought we were supposed to look at the value under the alpha 0,01?
