looking to establish a PMO office to look over projects and
ensure project implementations and results.

The company has operations world wide with revenue of 80M
CAD$/year and not less that 50 projects to be completed each
year with a progress report in each quarter.

ost of these projects are SW customization, some are
engineering, and process improvement

peration team are not following a process, so many
resources are not engaged in the project all the time.
Sr. Mgmt. can't seem to get timely reports, nor understand
reason for project delay.
The debate
:
VP of operations is asking to create PMO as he sees the
growth of projects volume and wants more control over the
portfolio and keeping track and lesson learned.
VP of Finance is seeing that no need for cost and resources,
the operation team can leverage SME to build projects
standards and best practices without the need of a PMO.
Needed:
