Reading your post, I found it interesting on how you describe the strategies that health care administrator would take to reduce surgical patient errors in his or her firm. Developing training objectives is an important aspect of coming up with the best decision on how to go about training staff members that work directly with patients in the surgery department to reduce the errors made before, during, and after surgery. I agree with your statement, "In order to change the culture of a hospital in regard to reducing patient care errors, one could develop training objectives." By creating new training objectives, there would be an opportunity to determine what was done wrong that used to caused errors. It is important to take caution on that as to not repeating the similar errors while working. I also think that it is important for the Human Resources management to understand the different levels of education of staffs in order to be able to effectively teach them on the steps to take to reduce the surgical medical errors. Effective communication is one vital tool to use. Healthcare professionals should communicate clearly to their patients, and co-workers throughout to avoid any misunderstanding and misinterpretation. Educating staff members on how to communicate effectively would help reduce errors. Implementing this into the teaching curriculum is an important aspect. Also, collaboration in the healthcare field is very important. Educating staff on how to collaborate effectively to work with the patient would reduce help prevent errors from occurring. Working together, and effective communication are two vital pieces of training that the HRM should incorporate when developing training strategies to reduce errors from occurring.

I enjoyed reading your post about the strategies that an administrator should implement that would allow the different professions to receive training that will lessen the errors of surgical professionals in the hospital. An administrator should always find a way to help his or her firm to prosper. To implement strategies that would enable different professionals to receive training that would reduce errors related to surgery is important to the overall success of the company. Coming up with training strategies is one thing that an administrator does to ensure that things are in place in the healthcare field. I like your statement that you said, "In this situation where surgeries are being performed on patients it is vital that the staff involved in every aspect of the surgery, from pre-op to post-op, have the proper training and tools to provide the best care possible." I agree with this statement. In order for this to  be put in place stronger, The Human Resources management need to bring out strategies to be implemented in cease the old behavior of the health professionals in that works directly with patients in order to reduce errors related to surgery. I agree with your statement that you said, "Rather than giving them basic training, the staff should be given a more hands-on approach to real-world scenarios." I also believe that all staff members should be educated on how to approach the situation in preventing surgery errors. That could include hands-on trainings on how to prevent errors from happened. I also think that using previous errors that has led to severe injuries or death of patients in the organization is also a vital step to take. Also, I agree that training should be implemented in the facility, and since people learn in different ways, it is important that there are different types of training to help people to understand better. In God's eyes building each other up is essential. Bring up ideas to help people lives and also working towards accomplishing that goal is a blessing to God.
