Hi, I am a little confused about my biomagnification lab.

I put water and oil in a 1000, 100,

and 10 mL cylinder. The oil is representing the toxins that are supposed to grow larger in concentrations as we go up the trophic levels.

However, even though I carefully was pouring the oil and water into the next smaller cylinder, the concentration of oil seems to go down. This isn't how biomagnification works!
