Luckily, the facility provides a clear reporting procedure for workplace aggression. Employees have the responsibility of reporting incidences that involve workplace violence. The policies ensure that such incidences are dealt with once they are reported. Once an incident has occurred, employees are expected to report to their direct supervisors who are expected to act on the incident immediately. When individuals report incidences that make them uneasy, the company offers them psychological support. The strategy is very effective in reducing employees stress. It also increases their level of motivation because they are assured that the company appreciates them.

The plan is usually developed in collaboration with a Clinical Nurse Consultant.
