The researcher of this essay suggests that classroom or on-ground education is the traditional way of gaining education either in schools or colleges today, while the evolving technology facilitates students to pursue their courses online even from the comfort of their home instead of on-ground. However, it is better to consider the advantages and disadvantages of both forms of education before taking up any course of study. There are various advantages of classroom learning, that were discussed in the admission essay, such as diirect face to face interaction with instructor, interactive classroom environment, comfortable classroom, proper time management established by educator and certain technology requirements, that are needed. Traditional classroom requires minimum usage of computers and does not expect every student to possess a laptop. The schools provide books in library and computer labs that can be readily available for use as and when required. Considering these facts one should not ignore the disadvantages of classroom learning like classroom learning is costlier when compared to online learning, missing classes due to health issues or other personal constraints might result in lowering the grades, not so active students might hesitate to interact and avoid active participation in any discussions with instructor or other co-students. It is then concluded that success of on-ground or online learning procedures is considered to be effective to students if they use the available resources to their fullest.
