Hi, need to submit a 250 words paper on the topic The education of social class. Education and Social A major difference between educations of people coming from different social class has been experienced. People from certain social class have access to better education than people from other social classes. In this speech we will focus on the different of education based on social class difference.

According to the US social class ladder, US comprises of six different social classes (Fiske 2012). On the top of the ladder are those who are recognized as capitalist and they earn more than $1million per year and their children obtain education from top level, prestigious university. At the lowest end of the ladder is the underclass who earns less than $10,000 per year and are mostly unemployed and children of these families hardly gain high school level education.

Individuals and families start moving from the lowest level of the ladder to the top level of the ladder, as families start moving up the ladder, they start gaining higher education and the kind of institutes and quality of education even changes as they move up the ladder. For example those who are from the upper middle class send their children to universities but the universities attended by their children are not as prestigious as those who are from the capitalist class. The ladder even shows that the kinds of occupations in which people from different social classes even vary, for example the capitalist classes mostly are found in the top level of the organization and those in the middle class are able to rise to the lower level management positions.

There is a tremendous amount of different in the quality and the quantity of education obtained by individuals from different classes and due to this different there is a huge different in the level of jobs that are attained by people of different classes.
