She is shown as a character that knows how to get her way out of a situation and someone who does not accept no for an answer. She is shown as someone who could make anyone do what she wants. There are countless examples from the television series that proves that the house was dominated by Skyler, the woman of the house rather than Mr. White.

There are many authors and researchers that have attempted to make their audience elucidate about matriarchy. One such author is D.K.
