Hi, need to submit a 500 words paper on the topic Fireground Activity. Postfire discussions can be an important aspect of any fireground activity, whether formally or informally. What are the advantages and disadvantagesof both the informal post fire discussion and the more formal postfire conference

The informal post fire discussion has both advantages and disadvantages. First, when discussing the fire after it has been handled, some of the concepts and opinions about the fire may be too new, or lacking the proper ability to back up certain theories. People tend to make assumptions quickly, and just because there are assumptions, it does not necessarily mean that the assumptions do fit the facts of why the fire started. However, the informal discussion does allow for firefighters to share what they saw, what they felt, what happened, and any other observations that need to be added. This is an important aspect as far as data gathering is concerned when one is trying to determine what may have caused a fire, and how it may have burned. The more formal postfire conferences also have advantages and disadvantages. It provides firefighters with the ability to examine all of the evidence and come to a decision. However, it may be difficult to always come to the correct decision within one conference, and this can certainly be a disadvantage. There is also the problem of some individuals jumping to certain conclusions and assumptions before all the facts are in and analyzed. Furthermore, there is no assurance that all participants at the conference will agree. Therefore, both informal and formal discussions dealing with the post fire concepts do have positive and negative aspects.
