Hi, need to submit a 750 words essay on the topic Understanding of scientific thinking and skepticism.

Scientific thinking is based on the need to follow evidence that is testable and can be proven, thus if an aspect of evidence can support the hypothesis, then from scientific point of view, the method is regarded as feasible. Nevertheless, from the skeptics points of thinking, unworthy ideas are disapproved through falsification and dismantling of proposals. In an attempt to understand scientific thinking and skeptic, this paper will analyze them in relation to the six principles of critical thinking and how the principles impact on the human behavior.

In a scientific environment, there can be findings that are consistent with several hypothesis. hence, to ensure the project benefits from the best hypothesis, additional research will be required to eliminate an alternative hypothesis. Elimination of an alternative hypothesis would benefit from a skeptic thinking to device the best of the hypotheses. An example of a hospital setup where the health management team are devising mechanisms of management of anxiety that could be used as a policy for the hospital. There could be different mechanisms that are both supported by the scientific research. however, skeptics will help in eliminating other on basis of cost as well as the time frame the mechanisms would take for the elimination of anxiety. In this approach, the human behavior in choosing one method over the other will be influenced by the skeptic approach of explaining the important reasons for choosing the alternative (Lau, 2013).

This disapproves the scientific thinking approach which implies that if A and B are related, then either A or B causes the other. Nevertheless, there are instances when if two parameters are related, then one causes the other. An example of this could be drawn from any ordinary working environment when attempting to understand the
