3.0 Importance of Health Education

Health education builds the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes of students about health. Health education teaches about social, mental, emotional and physical health. In addition to that, it motivates students to maintain and improve their health, reduce risk behaviors and prevent diseases. Nurses have an important role in improving the adherence of the patient to the medicine. A follow-up to find out if there is a matter affecting the medicine taking the behavior of the patient should also be carried out by the nurse.
