How are eating habits and attitudes scripted in our culture? Why does it matter to explore and understand this dynamic?

Assignment: Consumption is a synonym for eating as well as a metaphor for thinking about our relationship to popular culture. Consumption can refer to the literal foods we eat, but it also stands for the ways we navigate the world of mass-mediated images, icons, and stories. Write an essay that examines particular ways our eating habits and attitudes are scripted in our culture. Draw on the two of the required readings and, if relevant, reflect on your own experience or observations to write this essay.

Essay must be in MLA format and 1400 words that includes the works cited page. Please do not exceed 1400. You can only use two articles which i will provide for you. No other sources can be used.
