How big is earth compared to other objects in the solar system?
The earth is larger than mercury and mars(and pluto). It is roughly the same size as venus. It is smaller than most others.
Here is the approximate radius of every planet in our solar system, in kilometers. Jupiter - 69,900 Saturn - 58,200 Uranus - 25,400 Neptune - 24,600 Earth - 6,371 Venus - 6,000 Mars - 3,400 Mercury - 2,400
Obviously, is far larger than the earth. On the other hand, all asteroids are smaller than earth, as are all moons.
Here is a graphical view of the relative sizes of the sun and the planets (in addition to pluto).
It's going from the inside out of the soar system:
(You might be surprised at Venus's size ;) But it's actually bigger than Mars and rotates in the opposite direction to earth and all the other planets.)
Whoa! The Sun does make up 99.98% of the mass of the solar system so that size is legit!
